Police were called to 155 Elm St. on Friday, July 19 at 1:11 p.m. on a report of three stolen iPhones that were reportedly discovered missing, according to New Canaan Police.
The store manager identified a store employee at the time of the theft, Tyler Mills, as a suspect, police said.
A subsequent investigation was conducted and during this investigation Mills reportedly confessed to the investigating officer that he did take the iPhones, according to police.
On Monday, July 22 at 4:44 a.m., Mills reportedly surrendered to New Canaan Police and was issued a misdemeanor summons for fourth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court Tuesday, July 30.
